Position Purpose

Job duties include, but are not limited to: Polish, stock, and inspect all glassware, silverware, and plates.

Essential Functions - What Will I be Doing?

As the Stocker, specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·    Polish and inspect all glassware, silverware, and plates

·    Maintain stock of all glassware, silverware and plates in all appropriate areas of the restaurant

·    Side work duties, upkeep of the restaurant

                ·    Performs other duties as assigned and needed by management

*Additional duties as necessary and assigned.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and written. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, answer the phone and communicate with coworkers and guests
  • Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to continuously walk and or stand, move up and down multiple flights of stairs and transport items (such as glassware, dishes, heated plates, beverages and chairs) weighing up to 50 lbs. continuously, throughout the duration of a possible 8 hour shift on a regular basis or for the duration of your shift
  • Requires bending, stretching, twisting, stooping, carrying, lifting and reaching above the shoulder in excess to 50 lbs with your body and arms and or being able to push or pull 100 lbs.
  •  Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
